Culina is a distribution company with sites across the UK. Their copy of Safety Organiser was initially developed to record and analyse accidents and incidents for 11 sites. The program sends automated prompts if records are not closed out after 10 days and reminders if an accident becomes RIDDOR reportable. A monthly report has been developed to summarise the reports and compare with statistics by site from the previous year. They also have a facility to supply a URL for individual accident records and associated documentation to the company solicitors in the event of claims. This lets the solicitors view records in real time without having access to the complete database. Culina have recently added a claims reporting function that will summarise all outstanding claims resulting from accidents.
Oil Spill Response Limited – Development from Windows based COSHH/Risk Assessment program through to the web based Health & Safety Management system used across the business. Oil Spill Response have been a user of EOA Systems software since 1998 when they operated COSHH and Risk Assessment programs at their Southampton base. They migrated to a web version of the standard software in 2009 and have since developed the application around their documentation to report Accidents, Unsafe Situations and Corrective Actions. We are currently implementing a Permit to Work system and Safety Observation reporting system to be used across sites in the UK, Bahrain, America, Singapore, Norway and South Africa.
